YOUR LEGAL CAREER STARTS HERE!
We’re looking for two Solicitor Apprentices who are ready to begin their legal career with Moore Barlow.
Our Solicitor Apprenticeship programme focuses on developing future talent. Over five and a half years, you’ll be supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow — with a clear pathway towards becoming one of our future partners and leaders.
Applications for our 2026 intake are now open and will close at 11:59pm on Sunday 15 February 2026. All applications will be reviewed after the deadline, so take your time: research, reflect, and submit the strongest application you can.
WHAT YOUR JOURNEY WILL LOOK LIKE
During the first 3.5 years, you’ll rotate across multiple teams in our Southampton office, progressing from administrative work to hands-on paralegal responsibilities.
For the final two years, you’ll join our Trainee Solicitor cohort and have the opportunity to work in our other offices — Guildford, Woking, Richmond, central London, and Lymington. This gives you exposure to different working environments, a wider internal network, and a broad range of practice areas, from Corporate to Family to Medical Negligence. You’ll work closely with expert lawyers and a wide variety of clients, gaining a rich, well-rounded legal training experience.
Your study time matters too. You’ll work four days a week and dedicate one day to study, completing an LLB in Legal Practice and Skills with the University of Law before sitting the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations in your final year.
Throughout the programme, you’ll receive the professional and academic support you need to succeed.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applications are welcome from:
Final-year A Level students
College leavers
You’ll need:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths
A minimum of BBB (120 UCAS points) or equivalent at A Level
Please note, we cannot accept applications from graduates or from individuals who do not have permanent right to work in the UK.
HOW TO APPLY
Complete our online application form and upload your CV. If you make our initial shortlist you will have a live video interview with either our Emerging Talent Manager or a member of the Talent Acquisition Team. The final shortlist will be invited to attend an Assessment Day in Southampton in May 2026.
Final offers will be conditional on successful candidates achieving the required A Level grades.
