This is an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to become part of Aspire, who are a specialist spinal cord injury charity.

In partnership, Moore Barlow and Aspire provide unparalleled legal proficiency combined with comprehensive understanding and experience in delivering essential services and support for individuals with spinal cord injuries.

The team of dedicated legal professionals focus all their time working to achieve the best results for their clients, ensuring they receive the maximum compensation from their claim, and the best rehabilitation and ongoing support. The firm invests 50% of its profits back into the charity, so it can continue and improve its fantastic and life-changing work.

Day-to-day:

Our Legal Assistants are integral members of our team, entrusted with managing their own tasks while offering support to colleagues on more complex matters. Your daily duties encompass:

  • Monitoring the Aspire inbox and respond to enquiries when needed
  • Assisting with preparation and distribution of engagement letters
  • Supporting file opening, closure, and billing processes
  • Handling telephone inquiries
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Assisting at events with setup and other tasks

 

What we look for:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess some administrative experience along with a genuine passion for assisting others. We're seeking an individual who can demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively support our team of legal professionals and the clients they serve.

 

While prior experience within a Medical Negligence or Personal Injury team is advantageous, we also welcome applicants with relevant work or academic experience that showcases a sincere interest in this field.
